Master Bathroom Makeover

Personally, this is our favorite bathroom we have ever done! This Master Bathroom was your typical, builder-grade material, limited style, bathroom. We knew exactly where to go to find the perfect tile for this Master Bathroom transformation. Tilebar.com is where we find most of our tile pieces that we use for a variety of our projects. Each piece is unique and definitely one of a kind. Here at Dazzle Interior Design, we want our clients to know each space is catered specifically to them and tilebar.com helps us make that happen!

The tub!

We are suckers for stand alone soaker tubs! They are luxurious and simple all at the same time. We used a stand alone tub as the focal point of the bathrooms to help create a space that is relaxing and inviting, saying “Come on in!”. We framed the soaker tub with dazzling picket shaped tiles from Tilebar.com. Typically, we’re not a fan of the picket shaped tiles, they come across more traditional. We saw this color and immediately fell in love. It’s not forest green; it isn’t quite sage, however, it’s just perfect for this bathroom and exactly what was needed.

The Master Vanities!

Once we finished the corner, we did these unique style vanities. They are a touch of modern with a mix of Scandinavian. The open shelf concept on the vanities keeps the room spacious while also offering storage options. The most loved part of these vanities? The thick stone counters that make a bold statement.

The Master Bathroom Lighting!

Above the vanities, we added beautiful, round, LED mirrors. We put LED mirrors in all Master Bathrooms. They are phenomenal for make-up lighting (my make-up wearing readers will understand how important that is!!). Unfortunately, perfect make-up lighting is not perfect for mood lighting. We added these subtle, sleek, modern sconces on each side of the mirror to solve that issue. Adding several types of lighting to this space made the room multi-functional. You have brighter lighting for your day-to-day routine in the bathroom and lower lighting for a calming evening soak in the tub after a long day.

The Flooring!

On the floor, we have these unique hexagon tiles. One corner of the tile has a wood grain appearance, the rest of it resembles cement. These help tie together the modern and Scandinavian feel we were going for. Some people put these distinctive tiles in a specific pattern, we adore the random design to make the space more fun.

The Shower!

In the shower, we used tiles that resemble wood slat panels (which are all the rave right now), to bring the shower and outer bathroom space together. Adding the same alluring green tiles from behind the tub to the shower niche and as a waterfall style behind the shower trim. For the shower floor, we kept it sweet & simple with a small white hexagon tile. This kept the bathroom style flowing throughout. We topped off the shower with the frameless shower door and voila this bathroom was transformed!
